Donna M. Doss Memorial Act of 2021
Findings
Native of the State of Washington
Agent of the US Border Patrol for 15 years.
Her service began in 2003 and ended February 2, 2019.
Donna graduated 569th Session of the Border Patrol Academy with Class 584 on June 6, 2005.
She served on Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force on the southern border for 3 years then was assigned to the northern border.
Promoted to Supervisory Border Patrol Agent in Laredo Border Patrol Sector and was named Operations Officer in 2016 where she relocated to Abilene Texas in 2017 serving as a Resident Agent.
On February 2. 2019 Agent Doss responded to a call from the Texas Department of Public Safety near Interstate 20 in Tye, Texas. There she was struck and killed by a passenger vehicle.
She is survived by her husband, father, mother, 2 stepchildren, a sister and a brother.
Designation
Rocksprings station of the US Border Patrol located on West Main St. Rocksprings, Texas shall be designated as the “Donna M. Doss Border Patrol Station.”
References
Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the station described shall be deemed the “Donna M. Doss Border Patrol Station.”
